Chicago Children’s Center for Behavioral Health is a compassionate and dedicated team of behavioral health professionals including physicians, nurses, counselors, therapists, teachers and support staff. It is our mission to heal children and adolescents with behavioral health needs with an understanding that each child has a unique condition and set of circumstances. With a child, family, and community focus, we develop individualized solutions to meet their needs. We work closely with families and the child’s community to guide and nurture enduring healing and compassionate care.
It is our vision to become the most effective, compassionate, and most secure program for children and adolescents with behavioral health needs in the region. We plan to accomplish this through extraordinary clinical skills, excellent customer service, and maintaining a secure and therapeutic milieu. The physicians, nurses, counselors and therapists on staff listen closely to the child and the family and support people involved in their lives to determine the unique needs of each patient. All Chicago Children’s Center for Behavioral Health team members excel at customer service and this should be remarkable the moment a patient or family member steps onto our unit. Our sincere compassion and willingness to help will not only have a positive effect on the patients and visitors, but will also create an extraordinarily affirmative work environment. The efforts of our team members to help create successes for the patients and their families will be recognized and appreciated on a consistent basis.
